Automated Settings and Changeovers
Improve overall efficiency with fully automated settings that are managed entirely from a PC station. Utilizing the PC Controller software on the saddle stitcher, you can set up jobs in under 60 seconds. Simply select a paper size and the saddle stitcher will automatically set the score, stitch, fold, and trim setting. Make any adjustments quickly and easily on the computer.
Intelligent Feeding
Perform custom feeding for unique job requirements and maximize the power of your collator using the Intelligent Multi-Bin Feed (IMBF) function. Merge black and white documents with color media, combine uncollated offset with collated digital output, and create one-to-one booklets by inserting variable data material. Take control of the feeding sequence by selecting bins to feed from and the quantity of sheets.
High Performance Saddle Stitcher
Streamlining the binding process results in higher productivity. The iSaddle 5.0 integrates the scoring, stitching, folding, and trimming units into a powerful system. Eliminate the task of setting and folding signatures separately.

Each collated set is jogged into alignment then scored and plough folded – producing thicker and flatter booklets. The iSaddle 5.0 comes standard with 2 Hohner heads with 3 and 4 Hohner head options available. Motor-driven stops and twin drive belts maintain control of each booklet.
Its increased versatility provides the capability to produce 4-stitched booklets using only 2 stitch heads. Process booklets with up to 6 different sheet sizes using the multi-sheet size function. Add the 6-page cover kit option to do even more.
Three-Knife Trimming
Add three-side trimming and 2-up finishing capabilities to your system with the DKTS-200 Two Knife Trimmer. The gutter cutter along with the 4-stitch capability double the productivity of small format jobs up to 9,000 booklets per hour.
The iSaddle 5.0 handles both offset (set-by-set) and digitally printed (sheet-by-sheet) output with equal ease.
