The DFL-700 Foil/Laminator adds value to digitally-printed output on a budget. Ideal for short runs and variable data jobs, the DFL-700 can be used to apply toner or polymer-based foil as well as single-sided lamination for an enhanced finish. It brings the capability to foil on both coated and uncoated paper, process longer sheet sizes up to 26″, and comes equipped with features designed to reduce production time.

Toner-Reactive Foiling
The DFL-700 enables simple, in-house digital toner-based foiling. The heated roller fuses foil with printed toner. Simply print your artwork in 100% black toner, set up the foil roll, and heat the machine to 135°F. The foil is automatically applied to the printed sheets, ready for finishing. The DFL-700 works with all types of foils, available in a variety of colors to suit your needs.
Polymer Foiling with Raised Effects
Create tactile foiled effects with polymer foiling. The three-step process involves lamination, spot coating, and foiling. Begin by laminating your printed sheets with the DFL-700, then process them on a spot UV coater like the Duplo DDC-810 Pro, then return the sheets to the DFL-700 to apply foil for a luxurious, raised finish.

Thermal Laminating
The DFL-700 also offers thermal lamination to protect printed materials while enhancing their look and feel. Laminating film is heat-activated, and the DFL-700 accommodates rolls up to 6,000 feet.
